UREVO Strol 2E Pro Review: A £199 Walk-and-Jog Treadmill?

UREVO Strol 2E Pro treadmill
The Strol 2E Pro is UREVO's most convincing budget two-in-one. Fold the rail down for desk walking, lift it for speeds up to 6.2 mph, and use the 12% incline for harder sessions. At £199.99 it is aggressively priced, although the 92 × 39 cm belt remains walking-pad sized.

Verdict in brief

A strong compact treadmill for walking, brisk sessions and occasional jogging. The incline and app features are excellent at £199.99, but runners should not mistake the 6.2 mph top speed for a long running deck.

What two-in-one means here

With the rail folded, the Strol 2E Pro behaves like a walking pad and tops out at a lower working speed. Raise the rail and the machine unlocks its 6.2 mph maximum for faster walking and controlled jogging. This makes it more flexible than a flat under-desk pad without requiring the permanent frame of a conventional treadmill.

The concept works best when both modes will genuinely be used. If the rail will remain down beneath a desk, a dedicated walking pad may be lower and easier to store. If the rail will always remain up for jogging, a longer compact treadmill such as the Foldi Mini may provide a more forgiving stride.

The folding joint and safety key also create a more conventional exercise setup in raised mode. Always secure the rail exactly as the manual describes before increasing speed, and clip the safety cord to clothing.

With the rail lowered, the Strol 2E Pro behaves like a walking pad. Raise the rail and it unlocks its full 6.2 mph speed. That is enough for a gentle jog, but the small deck still requires a controlled stride.

The incline gives it an advantage

A powered 12% incline is the feature that separates this model from most sub-£200 two-in-one treadmills. It can make a slow walk demanding and supports the incline used for 12-3-30. Automatic control avoids stopping to unfold manual feet beneath the machine.

The short 92 cm deck requires care as the gradient rises. Incline changes stride length and balance, while the narrow 39 cm width leaves little spare space. Build up over several sessions and keep the controls accessible. A desk should not be treated as a handrail unless it is specifically designed to take body weight.

The figure is a percentage, not degrees. It should be compared with other treadmills on the same basis. A steep maximum is useful, but smooth lower settings may matter more for everyday progression.

Many budget two-in-one treadmills are completely flat. UREVO lists up to 12% incline on the Pro, which makes walking workouts substantially more demanding without requiring running speeds. The app can also provide route-based sessions and automatic pace guidance.

A lightweight folding frame

At 19.7 kg, the Strol 2E Pro is light enough for many adults to roll around a room. The folding rail reduces its height for storage and allows it to sit beneath some beds or sofas. Measure the complete stored dimensions and furniture clearance, including central supports, before ordering.

Frequent movement changes the buying calculation. A light machine is easier to store, but it also has less mass resisting foot strike at jogging speed. The stated 136 kg user limit should not be read as proof that the frame will feel equally planted for every user and pace.

Check the route between use and storage. Door thresholds, deep carpet and tight turns often matter more than transport wheels. If stairs are involved, the machine should be treated as a two-person lift.

The machine weighs 19.7 kg, around 1.7 kg lighter than the standard Strol 2E and much lighter than the FoldiMix 5L. That makes under-sofa storage more realistic, although you still need enough clearance for the folded rail and 11 cm deck.

Running limitations

The 6.2 mph maximum reaches a jogging pace, but the 92 × 39 cm belt remains the limiting factor. It is substantially shorter and narrower than the deck on a treadmill built for regular running. Taller users will need to shorten their stride, and there is little margin if concentration slips.

We would describe this as a walking pad with a jogging option. It can support short intervals and beginner sessions, particularly for a smaller user, but it is not the machine we would choose for repeated 5K training. Speed capability and running suitability are separate questions.

A buyer focused on jogging should compare the Foldi Mini’s 105 cm belt and the larger models in our home treadmill guides. A broader, longer deck usually matters more than an extra app feature once the pace rises.

A 92 × 39 cm area is not a normal running deck. It can work for short, controlled jogs at moderate speed, particularly for smaller users. Anyone building towards regular 5K or 10K training should choose a longer treadmill such as the CyberMega or look at our wider home treadmill guide.

Choosing between walking and jogging mode

For desk work, keep the pace deliberately low and make sure the workstation rises enough once the deck is underneath. For exercise with the rail raised, begin with a walking warm-up and confirm that every locking point is secure before using the higher speed range.

Changing modes should be part of the routine rather than an afterthought. Clear objects from the rail’s path, keep the power cable away from the folding mechanism and do not store accessories on the deck. The remote and app can be convenient, but the physical safety key remains the fastest way to stop in raised mode.

If one mode dominates after the first few weeks, a more specialised machine may have been the better choice. The Strol earns its place through flexibility, not by outperforming dedicated walking pads or full treadmills at their own jobs.

The folding rail is what separates the Strol 2E Pro from a basic under-desk pad. With the rail lowered, it can handle slower walking and slide into a more compact storage space. With the rail raised, the higher speed becomes available and the machine feels more like a small treadmill. That flexibility is useful in a household where one person wants to walk while working and another wants a short evening jog.

There is still an important limit. A 90 × 40 cm belt is compact for jogging, especially for taller users or anyone whose stride opens up as the pace increases. The 6.2 mph maximum speed sounds capable, but belt length matters as much as speed. This is better suited to controlled jogging intervals than regular 5K training. The UREVO Foldi Mini gives you a longer 105 cm deck if stride room matters more than incline. For regular running, use our home treadmill guide and look for a substantially longer running surface.

The 17.3 kg machine weight is a genuine advantage for storage. It should be much easier to move than a conventional folding treadmill, although users still need enough clear floor space to lower and raise the rail safely. The fixed incline adds intensity without extra controls, but it also means every session uses the same gradient. This combination suits buyers who value compactness and variety more than outright running performance.

App, noise, maintenance and warranty

UREVO Wellness Hub provides connected routines and records. Our positive experience with the app comes from the CyberPad for Home, not this exact model, so connection quality should not be treated as tested here. The treadmill should still make sense if the app is unavailable.

At jogging speed, foot strike will usually be more noticeable than the motor. A mat can protect flooring and reduce vibration, but users in upstairs rooms should be realistic about impact transmission. Belt tracking and lubrication should follow the Strol manual, with small adjustments made only after checking the deck at low speed.

UREVO UK currently advertises a one-year warranty, a further 180-day extension for eligible direct purchases and lifetime customer support. Read the current conditions and returns process before buying.

How it compares

The standard Strol 2E has a longer 102 cm belt but no incline and is currently sold out. The Foldi Mini offers a 105 × 40 cm deck but also lacks incline. At the current price, the Pro is the better all-round value unless belt length is your priority.

Our verdict

A strong compact treadmill for walking, brisk sessions and occasional jogging. The incline and app features are excellent at £199.99, but runners should not mistake the 6.2 mph top speed for a long running deck.

We will update this page if we test the machine hands-on. Until then, the score reflects its specification, current price and position against alternatives, with a lower confidence weighting than our tested reviews.

The buying decision in practice

Households sharing the treadmill should agree on how the rail is secured and where the remote and safety key are stored. The two-in-one format is convenient only when the change between modes remains simple and consistent for every user.

The Strol 2E Pro is for a buyer who will use both sides of its two-in-one design. It can live beneath a desk with the rail folded, then provide a more secure raised setup for faster walking and short jogging intervals. Powered incline gives it a clear training advantage over most products at this price.

The Foldi Mini is the better UREVO comparison when jogging comfort matters because its belt is 13 cm longer. A dedicated walking pad may be lower and simpler if the rail will rarely be raised. A full treadmill remains the better answer for repeated running sessions.

Before ordering, mark out the 92 × 39 cm belt and decide where the rail will move when folding. Check that the safety key, cable and controls remain accessible in both modes. The machine is flexible, but only when the room and routine accommodate the change.
