The question is whether you’re getting genuine value or paying less for a reason.
The short answer: it depends which model. The X20 and X50 at the top of the range are genuinely impressive machines that compete with treadmills costing significantly more. The A1 Pro is a capable budget option with an important limitation (the belt is small). The A6 Plus is a basic 2-in-1 for walkers. But DeerRun’s perpetual “sale” pricing, inconsistent spec reporting, and mixed after-sales reviews mean you need to go in with your eyes open.

DeerRun X50 (Apex Pace 1)
The X50 is DeerRun’s flagship and the first model in their range that feels like it genuinely belongs in a conversation with NordicTrack and JTX. The 18% auto incline is steeper than anything NordicTrack offers below the X Series incline trainers. The 12.4 mph top speed matches the NordicTrack T8 and JTX Sprint 7. The 181 kg max user weight matches the NordicTrack Commercial 2450.
The big screen with AI coaching via the PitPat app is DeerRun’s answer to iFIT. It’s not as polished or content-rich, but PitPat is free. No subscription, no monthly fees, no “you’ve bought a nice screen that nags you to pay more.” That alone changes the value equation significantly.
The belt at 132 × 48 cm is worth paying attention to. It’s wider than the A1 Pro (42 cm) and X20 (45 cm), but still narrower than a NordicTrack T Series (51 cm) or JTX Sprint (55 cm). If you’re a bigger runner, the premium brands give you more room. For average-build users, the X50’s belt is adequate for running at pace.

The X20 is the DeerRun model that most directly competes with established brands, and on paper, it wins. At its typical UK selling price, you’re getting 15% auto incline and 11.2 mph from a foldable machine with a 181 kg user weight capacity. For context, the NordicTrack T8 at roughly double the price offers 12% incline. The X20’s incline is actually steeper.
The belt at 130 × 45 cm is the same length as the NordicTrack T5 but marginally narrower (45 vs 46 cm). For most joggers and runners under 5 ft 10, this is perfectly adequate. The X20 also features an inverse walking mode for backward walking at low speeds, which is useful for rehabilitation and muscle activation.
DeerRun doesn’t disclose motor CHP ratings, so direct motor comparisons with NordicTrack (which publishes CHP) are impossible. That lack of transparency is frustrating, but the practical question is whether the motor handles the speeds well, and reviewers consistently say it does.

DeerRun A1 Pro
The A1 Pro is DeerRun’s most reviewed and most popular model in the UK. It’s a compact foldable treadmill with handrails, a 6% adjustable incline, and a 10 mph top speed. At its typical selling price, it undercuts everything from NordicTrack, JTX, and Reebok by a significant margin.
Two important things to know. First, the belt is 112 × 42 cm. That’s small. Considerably smaller than the NordicTrack T5 at 130 × 46 cm and far smaller than the 152 × 51 cm you get on mid-range treadmills. Anyone over 5 ft 8 will feel constrained at running speeds. This is fundamentally a walking and light jogging machine, not a running treadmill, despite the 10 mph top speed.
Second, folding requires an Allen wrench to tighten and loosen bolts on each side. Unlike the one-touch hydraulic fold on NordicTrack or JTX, this is a deliberate manual process. Fine for occasional storage, tedious for daily folding.
There’s also a 2026 Move+ version with NFC pairing for the PitPat app at a slight premium. Same belt, same motor. Get the Move+ if the price difference is small.
The A1 Pro is excellent for what it actually is: a compact, affordable treadmill for daily walking and light jogging. Just don’t expect it to replace a gym treadmill for serious running.

DeerRun A6 Plus
The A6 Plus is DeerRun’s cheapest treadmill and their best seller. It’s a 2-in-1 design: fold the handrail down and it works as a walking pad (capped at about 3.8 mph), fold it up and it becomes a light jogging machine at up to 7.5 mph. The 5% manual incline is a useful addition that adds training variety for walkers.
Let’s be honest about the belt size. At 105 × 38 cm, this is tiny. For context, a standard A4 sheet of paper is 30 cm wide. The A6 Plus belt is 38 cm. That’s barely wider than a sheet of paper plus your foot. At walking speeds this is fine. At anything above 5 mph, shorter users will manage but taller users will feel like they’re walking a tightrope.
The dual-mode transition requires stopping, raising or lowering the handrail, locking it in place, then restarting. It’s not a mid-session switch. After a few days the routine becomes automatic.
At its typical UK selling price, the A6 Plus is one of the cheapest ways to get a treadmill with incline and handrails delivered to your door. It won’t satisfy runners. It’s built for daily walking, WFH step-counting, and the occasional light jog. If that’s what you need, it does the job.

Yes. DeerRun is a legitimate company with a UK warehouse and showroom in Oldbury, West Midlands (Granada Trading Estate). They offer UK phone support (+44 0800 048 8422), a 60-day return policy, and deliver from UK stock. They’re not a dropshipper.
A few things to know:
The “sale” pricing is the real pricing. DeerRun shows inflated RRPs with permanent discounts of 40-60%. The A6 Plus “was £459, now £199” has been £199 for months. Don’t feel rushed by countdown timers or “limited stock” warnings.
Spec transparency is inconsistent. DeerRun doesn’t publish CHP motor ratings, and belt dimensions aren’t always easy to find (we’ve included them in every section above). NordicTrack and JTX are more transparent. This guide gives you the numbers DeerRun’s marketing sometimes buries.
After-sales support is mixed. Most reviews are positive, but a minority report slow responses to warranty claims and refund processing. The 60-day return window is generous, but verify the product works correctly on arrival.
