Decathlon sells its treadmills under Domyos, its in-house fitness brand, and the current UK line-up runs from a sub-£500 folding machine right up to a 13.7 mph (22 km/h) semi-professional runner. We have reviewed and compared all five Domyos treadmills on sale today and ranked them with our RunRank system, so you can see at a glance which one fits your space, your budget and how hard you actually plan to run.
Every model here is sold and shipped by Decathlon, folds for storage and carries Decathlon’s warranty and returns policy. Below you will find our picks, full reviews, a side-by-side spec table and the buying details worth knowing before you order.

Domyos T520BThe five Domyos treadmills, reviewed
Domyos Run 500
4.4/5★★★★½
Best overallThe one we steer most people toward. You get a real 10% motorised incline, a 130 kg max user weight and a deck that folds down to just 27 cm, all at a folding-treadmill price. Nothing else in the range balances capability and cost this well.
Domyos Challenge Run
4.5/5★★★★½
Best for runnersThe fastest Domyos at 13.7 mph (22 km/h), with a 2 HP motor and a 20 hours-a-week duty rating, yet it still folds upright into a corner. If you genuinely run rather than walk, this is the pick. Only 20 owner reviews so far, so the sample is still small.
Domyos T900D
4.3/5★★★★½
QuietestThe quietest treadmill in the range at 52 dB, with a heart rate belt in the box, a cushioned deck and a console loaded with speakers, a fan and USB charging. A comfortable, well-equipped home machine if low noise matters more to you than top speed.
Domyos Compact Run 100
4.0/5★★★★☆
Best for small spacesAt 41 kg and folding nearly flat to 14 cm, this is the easiest Domyos to tuck away. The trade-off is no incline and the shortest deck in the range, so it suits walkers and shorter runs in tight spaces rather than serious training.
Domyos T520B
3.6/5★★★½
Cheapest startDecathlon’s best-seller badge and a 4.7 owner rating make this one popular, but on paper it is the weakest of the five and actually costs more than the Run 500. We explain in the full review why most buyers are better served putting the same money elsewhere.

Are Decathlon treadmills any good?
It is the question most people ask before buying, and the short answer is yes: for home use, the Domyos range is well judged for the money. The build is solid, the warranty is generous and the features you actually use are present even on the cheaper models. These are not commercial gym machines, and Decathlon is upfront about that with usage ratings that tell you how much running each model is designed to take. Read those ratings as a guide, since the entry models are built for a few sessions a week while the Challenge Run is built for daily training.
Motors and build quality
Every Domyos treadmill sits on a steel frame with a 130 kg maximum user weight, which is reassuring even at the entry level. The motors scale sensibly with price, from the 1.2 HP unit in the T520B up to the 2 HP motor in the Challenge Run, with the T900D using a continuous-duty motor and the Compact Run 100 a quieter brushless one. None is underpowered for its intended use, and the 10-year spare parts guarantee means a worn belt or motor is a repair rather than a write-off.
Value and warranty
Value is where the range is strongest, and it is the pillar the Run 500 and Compact Run 100 score highest on. A 2-year parts and labour warranty, a 5-year frame warranty and 10 years of spare parts availability is unusually good at these prices. Decathlon’s 365-day returns window for members removes much of the risk of buying a treadmill unseen, and payment plans at checkout make the higher-end models easier to spread.
Where they fall short
The honest limitations are duty ratings and, on the cheapest model, features. Most of the range is rated for 5 to 10 hours of use a week, so heavy daily runners should look only at the Challenge Run. The T520B drops app connectivity entirely, and the Compact Run 100 trades away incline for its flat fold. Knowing those trade-offs up front is the key to choosing the right one rather than the cheapest one.
How to choose the right Domyos
The range splits cleanly along three lines: how fast you want to go, how much room you have and how much you want to spend.
By how you train
If you mostly walk or jog, the Run 500 covers it comfortably and adds a proper incline. If you run intervals or longer distances, step up to the Challenge Run for its 13.7 mph top speed and 20 hours-a-week duty rating. The Compact Run 100 has no incline, so treat it as a walking and light-jogging machine.
By the space you have
For the tightest storage, the Compact Run 100 folds nearly flat to 14 cm, and the Run 500 folds to a low 27 cm. The Challenge Run, T900D and T520B fold upright instead, standing around 145 to 150 cm tall, which suits a corner or under the stairs rather than sliding under a bed.
By budget
The Run 500 and Compact Run 100 both sit at £499.99, which is the sweet spot in the range. It is worth knowing the T520B costs more at £549.99 despite being the entry model, so the cheapest sticker is not always the best value here.
How we rank the Domyos range
Every treadmill here is scored with RunRank, our own rating system. We assess each machine across four pillars, Performance, Build Quality, Value and Features, then average them into a single score out of 5. The ratings in this guide draw on Decathlon’s published specifications, owner review patterns and how each model stacks up within its price bracket, and they are independent of any commercial relationship. You can read the full method on our RunRank methodology page.

Frequently asked questions
Are Decathlon treadmills any good?
Yes, for home use they punch above their price. The range scores well on value in particular, with the Run 500 and Challenge Run leading our RunRank table. They are not commercial gym machines, but for walking, jogging and home running they hold up well, and the warranty and 10-year spare parts support add real peace of mind.
Is Domyos the same as Decathlon?
Domyos is Decathlon’s own in-house fitness brand. Every treadmill in this guide is a Domyos model sold, shipped and serviced by Decathlon, so the two names refer to the same thing.
Which Domyos treadmill is best for running?
The Challenge Run. It tops out at 13.7 mph (22 km/h), uses a 2 HP motor and is rated for up to 20 hours of use a week, which is the most capable in the range. The Run 500 is the better choice if you mainly walk and jog.
What warranty do Decathlon treadmills come with?
Two years on parts and labour, five years on the metallic frame and a 10-year spare parts guarantee. Decathlon members also get a 365-day returns window.
Can I buy a Decathlon treadmill on finance?
Yes, Decathlon offers payment plans at checkout, which can make the higher-end models like the T900D and Challenge Run easier to spread over time.
Can Decathlon service my treadmill?
Decathlon services its own Decathlon-brand machines, which includes every Domyos treadmill here. It does not service treadmills from other brands, so buying within the Domyos range keeps servicing simple.
Does Decathlon make a walking pad?
The Domyos range covered here is made up of folding treadmills with handrails rather than slim under-desk walking pads. The Compact Run 100 is the closest in spirit, folding nearly flat to 14 cm, but it is still a full treadmill. If you specifically want an under-desk walking pad, see our walking pad guide.
Do Decathlon treadmills arrive assembled?
It depends on the model. The Run 500 arrives assembled, while the larger machines need some setup out of the box. All of them fold for storage once in place, and transport wheels help you move them around.
Are Domyos treadmills suitable for tall or heavier users?
Every model supports a maximum user weight of 130 kg. For taller users, deck length matters most: the T900D (143 cm) and Challenge Run (140 cm) give the longest stride, while the Compact Run 100 and T520B have the shortest decks.
