The 130 × 46 cm deck is the smallest in the range. Fine for walking and light jogging, but taller users or those with longer strides will feel the limitation at pace. The 113 kg max user weight is low. If deck size or weight capacity matters, the T Series 6.5S offers more for the same price.
NordicTrack T Series 6.5S
Same price as the T Series 5 but trades a slightly less powerful motor (2.6 vs 2.7 CHP) for a meaningfully bigger running deck and higher weight capacity. The 140 × 51 cm deck is 10 cm longer and 5 cm wider, and the 136 kg max user weight is a substantial step up from 113 kg.
The 0.1 CHP motor difference is negligible in daily use. Both run at the same top speed with the same incline range. If you’re choosing between the T5 and 6.5S, pick whichever matches your body: shorter/lighter users can save with the T5, taller/heavier users should go 6.5S.
NordicTrack T Series 8
This is where the NordicTrack range stops being a budget proposition and starts being a proper running machine. Every meaningful spec jumps: 3.0 CHP motor, 12.5 mph top speed, 12% incline, 152 × 51 cm deck, and an actual 7″ HD touchscreen.
The speed jump from 10 to 12.5 mph is the big one. If you run at pace rather than jog, this is the minimum motor you should consider. The touchscreen makes iFIT feel like a real feature rather than an afterthought. AutoBreeze cooling fan adjusts to match your workout intensity.
NordicTrack T Series 9
The 3.6 CHP motor is the same unit found in the Commercial 2450, delivering smooth power at all speeds. Speed transitions during intervals are seamless. The 10″ tilting touchscreen is a world apart from the T8’s 7″ display, making iFIT virtual routes genuinely immersive.
The 147 kg max user weight handles heavier runners comfortably. The screen tilts for off-treadmill iFIT workouts like yoga and strength training. This is where the T Series starts competing with serious mid-range treadmills.
NordicTrack T Series 10

At 12% incline only (no decline), this sits below the Commercial range on hill training capability. Netflix, Spotify, and Amazon Prime stream directly on the screen through iFIT. For most home runners, 12% is more than enough incline.
NordicTrack T Series 16

At £1,799, the T16 costs the same as the Commercial 1250. The 1250 gives you 3.6 CHP, a 55 cm wide deck, -3% decline, and a 10″ screen. The T16 gives you a bigger 16″ screen but weaker mechanicals and no decline. At the same price, the Commercial 1250 is the better treadmill unless screen size is your top priority.
